Biography

Twenty years of work experience in industry (Ford Motor Company), government (NSF Program Director), and academia. The PI of $2.7 million research grants. The author of 200+ papers and presentations.


Teaching Interests

Foundational engineering courses such as engineering dynamics, manufacturing courses, and educational research and assessment courses.

Research Interests

Engineering education research (focusing on the use of new teaching and learning technologies to improve student problem solving) and manufacturing engineering research (focusing on the modeling of metal machining processes)
